We’ve tried to answer the most commonly asked questions below, but if you can’t find the answer you are looking for, or have a more unusual request, please feel free to get in touch.

How good are your photos & prints?

They’re fantastic! We are professional photographers after all, spending our days creating beautiful images for you to treasure so photographic quality was one of the biggest factors in choosing this photo booth.The photobooth is designed to accommodate the same equipment that we use to photograph our weddings and portraits, so all of your photo booth pictures will be sharp, hi res digital images lit by professional studio lights. We use dye sublimation printers which are the best in the business. The prints are ready in moments (slightly long than most booth printers because I have set ours to the highest quality) and instantly touch dry. They are also really durable and will not fade over time.

What colour is your portrait booth?

Our photo booth is made of beautiful oak and has been finished with a beautiful clear satin treatment to allow it’s beauty to shine through. The beautiful retro-styling of the booth means it will work with any venue, and any wedding theme. You will love it and so will your guests.

Portrait booth? Why do you call it that?

Our booth is so beautiful, and produces lovely prints, and while your guests are look glam and gorgeous, we thought you might like to give them the gift of a portrait photograph, and sometimes, you know, the creativity of working without any props to play with is fantastic. And after all, if it’s good enough for the Kardashians and other Hollywood stars, then it’s good enough for you!

How much space will we need at our venue?

Our booth comes packed, fits through a normal sized door and be transported up and down stairs, though a lift can make it a lot easier. We require a floor space of 2.5 m x 2.5m with a ceiling height of 2 m.  access. Contact us if you are unsure about whether your venue is suitable for this model. We are happy to liaise with the venue on your behalf to arrange the best place for the booth to go, as well as finalise set up and break down times.

Can the New Forest Portrait Booth be decorated or themed inside?

Our booth is an open booth, and comes with a backdrop of your choice, or we can use a feature of your wedding venue as the backdrop. And the booth itself is so stunningly gorgeous, you just won’t want to decorate it.

Can your photo booth go outside?

Our portrait booths require a covered location as electricity and water don’t mix and you can never guarantee the British weather! They are absolutely fine in a marquee as long as there is a relatively flat, solid floor and power for a normal 13 amp socket.

How many people can fit inside the portrait booth?

Our booth is an open booth, so it is not enclosed in any way. Which means everyone can see the fun, and to answer your question, it just depends on how close to each other your guests want to get!

Do you supply a props box?

Of course, and all the props have been chosen with great care. We’re having brilliant fun trawling the second hand shops for lovely quirky objects, and seeing what we can find online. Our favourite so far is the 1950s style microphone! But more and more people are going for the no props look which is great.

Who looks after the portrait booth?

We always have a fun and friendly trained member of staff attend your event, who will take care of everything for you and show your guests how to operate the booth. In the case of weddings, two people will be there, one to run the booth, the other to look after your beautiful guest book.

How long does it take to set up your photo booths?

We like to give ourselves at least 30 minutes, preferably an hour, to set up the booth and backdrop. We always travel with plenty of contingency time as well. And we like to be in contact with your venue or wedding coordinator too, just to make sure everything is covered.

Can you set up the photo booth earlier and return to run it later?

Should you require an earlier set up, prior to your guests arriving, or before dinner for example, we will do our best to accomodate you. This may be subject to an additional charge depending on the number of increased hours, but contact us for a quote if you are unsure about this.

How long do we get to use the portrait booth for?

Our standard booth run time is 3 hours, but additional hours can be added to your package at a cost of £75 each.

How many photos are included during the hire time?

We offer unlimited photos and prints for the duration of the hire time. As fast as your guests can strike a pose, the booth will produce the prints!

How big are the prints?

Our prints are post card size, 10 x 15 cm or 6 x 4 inches

Can we have colour or black and white prints?

Of course, just let us know – it’ll be one of the questions we ask a month or so before your wedding or event.

Can we personalise our prints?

Of course you can, all part of the service; included with the wedding package, and there might be fee for other services – ask us anyway.

How much does the booth cost?

The standard fee is £675 based on our wedding package – give us a call on 01425 672706 for a quote for something different or complete the contact form below. And you never know – we do run specials from time to time!

Do we get a digital copy of the pictures taken in the booth?

You will receive a USB with hi resolution digital copies of your entire collection of photo booth prints, printable up to the 6 x 4″ size without any loss in resolution AND all the original images too!

Can our guests view the images after the event?

Yes, a day or so after your event we create a password protected online gallery for you and your guests to view the images. They can download copies of the print file for FREE and for a modest cost they can download hi-res copies of the images too.

How does the guest book option work?

With the Wedding Package we set up the portrait booth to print 2 copies of each print, one for your guests to take home, and the other for your guest book. We look after the book for you at your event, placing the prints in and we do our best to encourage your guests to leave wonderful words for you. We have sourced the most gorgeous guest book. Handmade in England, our recycled cream leather album contains 60 ivory pages with glycine interleaving. Measuring 31 cm x 24.5 cm, it will comfortably hold two 15 x 10 cm (6 x 4 inches) photos on a page with space for your guests to write messages. We always ensure your book is completed to a high standard and will hand deliver it to you at the end of our session.
